How can i stop myself eating wrong food?!


Question: I really want to lose about 28lbs but my daily food intake is this
Breakfast - 2 slices of toast (white bread) with butter
Lunch - Turkey sandwich again white bread and butter
Tea/supper 2 bowls of crunchy nut (im addicted) with no milk, cos i prefer it dry.
I usually walk 4 times a week and do about 60 sit ups/crunches every day and use my x-trainer for 10mins a night.
Is the food i eat really bad? What could i eat instead?
Am i doing enough exercise or not?
Please help, thanks.

well your food isnt great you have no fruit and veges in it!
first off try and cut back on tea to 4 cups at themost because you would be drinking hundreds of calories of tea a day
if you stop this that would be a good start

Breakfast- instead of butter try avocado or vegemite and tomato
better for you as you need more veges in your diet
turkey sanwhich with NO butter but with salad in the sandwich instead. dinner- try proper food chicken, fish steamed veges.
but if you really need your crunchy nut, have a decent meal and they ONE bowl of crunchy nut to snack on afterwards.
and make your bread brown bread
the walking is a great start. maybe try pilates to?
or even running or swimming
you will have to increase this every week to get good results.

try almonds to curb your snacking times. whats for dinner? try oatmeal for breakfast instead. more exercise is always better to lose pounds.

maybe not as much white bread, but it sounds ok
a bit more excersise with more variation would help aswell
10 cups is way too much! you should only be having about 2/3

The best way to avoid the foods you should not eat is to try finding an "alternative". A good alternative is to try eating some apples. When you are hungry, eat an apple, first. Apples have lots of good things in them and help you feel a bit fuller. Then get a book called, "Going Against the Grain", which discusses wheat and problems some people have with it. One of the things that seems a bit obvious is that you are not including fruits or vegatables in your diet. Do you notice that you eat a lot of grains, though? Walking is good, but you do need to change how you eat. Try not thinking about how to loose weight, but how to eat healthy. This does not only effect how you look, but the inside of your body, too. Really, try eating some apples when you are hungry, prior to your regular meal or snack. What fruits do you like? Add them to your diet. For breakfast, try an egg once in awhile instead of toast, which has little nutrutional value.

The food you eat seems good except i think that you should have a healthier dinner consisting of meats and vegetables. Also you should be eating fruit and drinking milk and water.
Since you want to loose weight cut down on the tea! 10 cups is abit over - doing it. Cut down to around 5 cups if you like it so much.
