Slimming world help!!!!?!


Question: ive brought all the slimming world books to do at home but it looks so complicated any help would be appreciated i want to lose a stone in total thanks in advance xx

Ok, first I would suggest you go to a group as they really help you as you always feel motivated.
Food is seperated into categories 'Healthy Extras', 'Free Food' and 'Syns'.

Basically there are red and green days. On red days you can eat as much meat as you like but limited pasta etc. ( Look in the section of the book) and on green days you can have as much pasta etc. as you want but limited meat (again, look in the green section of your book).

You can eat as many free foods as you want. Some free foods are: most vegetables and fruits, Diet fizzy drinks, Muillerlight fruit yoghurts etc. You could eat a million if you wanted! Ideally half of your plate should be free food at meal times.

There are A option Healthy extras : you have a limited amount of cheese or milk once or twice a day and there are B Healthy Extras: you have a limited amount of fibrey stuff ( look it up in your book).

You're allowed roughly 15 syns a day. Any chocolates, cakes, sweets, sauces etc. can be looked up on the slimming world website, looked up in your book or you can even call the syns hotline!

I think that is basically it. Just read your book thoroughly and please, please take my advice and go to one of the meetings! The consultants are friendly and keep your information private ( my consultant has never mentioned anyone's weight and if they gain weight she doesn't say how much they've gained! Everyone's really supportive and its just really great motivation)Good luck!

Its really quite simple Hun, red day or green day, in your book it tells you whats green and whats red, red is meat, green is carbs and veg, don't mix the two together........ example, if i was on a green day i can have potato, pasta, rice, on red i can have , steak, chops, no fat tho, you have healthy options too, there is a list of those to choose from, one eg, jacket potato with baked beans,a cube of cheese from healthy option, and a huge bowl of salad , salad being a free food means you can eat as much as you like, you have a page full of free foods, its so hard to put it all down on here but its really not difficult, email me and i will phone you to explain if you still don't get it, good luck Hun, those pounds will fall off, i lost 2 half stone so easy and was never hungry. xx
