How much weight is it possible to lose in one week?!


Question: I know its bad to do. I am only going to drink water, have 40 ml of aloe vera juice and have a few fruits and vegetables each day. Do you think I can lose 5 kilos in a week this way?

When you starve your body from the nutrients it needs, it goes into protection mode. Your body starts to store fats and save them in order to keep you alive. You will not only slow down your metabolism, but the next time you do this your body will recognize it as a casual thing and start to pack on the little that you do eat and save it for the next time, and the next time.

The most successful way to lose weight is to work out. You need to burn more calories than you are taking in. If you work out twice a day i think you could achieve a ten pound goal. Then again it depends on how much you weigh right now. If you are overweight it will be easy, if you are not overweight your goal will be harder to reach. Also, when you start to work out twice a day your muscles will swell. Meaning you will weight more. So if you weigh yourself everyday you will not be satisfied with your results. Give it time (about three or four days), your muscles are in shock and need to reacquaint themselves with the exercise you are giving them. They will go down and shed off the pounds.

My best suggestion is that you eat lean meats (especially fish) and many fruits and vegetables. You should purchase vegetable protein shakes, along with fluids that can cleanse your body.

Drink a lot of water though. That will be sure to do you some good.

damn.. 5 kilos is like 10 lbs... I do not think that is possible unless you do a bunch of exercise as well as your diet! Also it is extremely unhealthy.. you will probably lose muscle mass not just fat mass - meaning your body won't be the way you want it to. And you might faint. And also I've heard when you eat too little- your body goes into starvation mode so your metabolism slowwwwws down. I do not recommend it.

Don't starve because you will actually gain weight!
The less you eat the slow you metabolism down, so yah.
I suggest eating healthy, and working out a lot!

wow, about 4-6 pounds per week, wow, i thought it was healthier id ppl lost 10 pounds per month!!! eww, you anorexic, you know the LESS u eat, your body tries to get the most fat of whatever it gets, so eat a little biut of healthy things all the times, like little healthy snacks so your body doesn't try to suck out all the fat. example of what to eat all the time is baby carrots.

yeahh but it takes a lot of time to loss some weght it takes monthes not weeks the most important step is eat a little bit each day and try to eat vegetable to!!! or water

yeah u will probably lose about 5 kilos in a week by doin that, more if u exercise
