Is it better to Join a Gym Or Workout at home?!

Question: Thanks..

Answers: Thanks..

A gym membership would cost around $300. If you want to workout at home, you would need to spend around $1500 (unless you watch infomercials that claim payments of only $75) or so in equipment. I think it would cost lessto either join a gym or invest in a collection of workout DVD's. Also, since it is spring, and the weather is getting warmer, you might also want to consider going out jogging three times a week.

Join a gym unless you have a real one at home. LOL.

home is easier, but since its almost spring, a nice walk outside or jog would do the trick. Enjoy this lovely weather! and besides, a gym costs money where as walking or jogging outside is free :)

I find it more convenient and inexpensive to work out at home. plus there's more privacy.

however, if you have trouble staying motivated, having to pay for a gym membership can help you want to work out more

Sometimes working out at the gym can give you more motivation so you don't have excuses around the house, like the phone ringing or changing the laundry. But personally, the gym kinda freaks me out because people can just sit there and watch you. CREEPY! But anyway, its really a personal preference. If you have the money to get a home gym, then go for it.

If you're serious about a workout and can afford it. . . join a gym. If not, there's plenty of things you can do at home with free weights, balls and other items around the home. Good Luck!

Depends on....

-if you already have equipment at home (might as well use it since its paid for)
-if you dont have equiptment, then it might be cheaper to go to a gym, more variety of equipment
-Where you feel more comfortable
-Where you think you'll push yourself more (will you be too tempted at home to end your workout early to watch a show?)

I have a few things here at my house, and its very convenient. but sometimes when Im at the gym I push myself a bit harder becuase I paid for that hour or two, and there arent many distractions. Your surrounded by motivated people

=)

A Gym--Your average piece of cardio equipment or weight machine in a gym costs between $2,000-5,000, nothing Tony Little or CHuck Norris Sells you will be up to snuff--You get what you pay for.

Also, you develop relationships with people at the gym and they become an encouragment and support system to you, -plus most gyms give you a wide variety of machines, free -weights, and three or four different types of classes to choose from, and they provide a lot of experienced people from whose advice you can benefit. Choose a gym that is within a fifteen minute drive from your house, or on your way to or from work. You will get much better results than working out at home.

both ways are good. home is cheap and you have your own privacy, but gym gives you the opportunity to use machines for your exercises, plus you can always have an advisor that can help you! i'd say gym...

Either. Just make sure every part of your body is getting an equal amount of work or else you'll cause injury.

if u will do it in regular and dont feel tired then its better to go to gym not then working out in home is also good
