Two things, cardio and ab workouts.

You have a thin layer of fat across your stomach and the only way to lose it is cardio. So make sure you do cardio if you want abs.

Next, do situps, crunches, leg lifts, but don't over do it. No need to do it every day, do it every other day.

Do as many situps as you can, then do as many crunches as you can, then do as many leg lifts as you can, this will stenghten your abs.

Cardio is very important because you need low body fat to see your abs or to have a flat stomach.
