How can I get my stomach dead Flat!? diet and exercise tips appreciated! (pics i!


Question: I suffered from Anorexia,Bulimia and Exercise Bulimia..I'm 5"2" and weigh 45 kilograms,I am 8 kilograms underweight! my spinal cord sticks out,my hip bones stick out
and my ribs,but i have a problem with my stomach! its still a bit chubby at the bottom,I dont really eat that much but when i do its just fruits,veggies and fiber
foods like Provita's and Special K bars.I go to gym every day for 1 hour and do 200 sit ups a day! nothing is working..here are some pics to show you my bones stick
out but my stomach has got a little pudge that wont go away! if i cant find away I will have to lead back to my old friend Anorexia again which i dont wanna!! :'(

see the little pudge? its very uncomfortable i know its so called "normal" to have it..but i wanna get rid of it..i want a dead flat stomach

im sorry to hear you suffered from all that and as you know im a bit obsessed with the way my body looks as what i see in the mirror will never be enough even though all my friends would love to have a body like mine but i see it as its weak and small and with you you body is fine in fact a little more weight could not hurt at all you look like a very nice girl so don't destroy what you have and be happy as there is nothing wrong with your stomach or the rest of you'r body and remember dont make the mistakes i have and get obsessed or you will never accept the way you look which happens to be very nice :)

you are friken skinny if you want those sit ups to work eat 8oz red meat a day this will give your mussels protine to burn fat and you will not gain weight

Eww dead flat is for ugly ano's. You are BEAUTIFUL, but any skinnier, and I wouldn't think so. Gaining weight would be a good thing. A little pudge anywhere is ok, as long as it's not huge. And I doubt a person your size could have a huge amount of fat.

Oh, and do sit ups, when you do gain the weight. About 20 a night should help.

this is what i always talk about...
people just want to lose weight and they don't know if that weight is muscle or fat because they don't know how to diet nor exercise.
look, i'll be frank with you, you are too skinny but you have a high bodyfat percentage... at 45 kg, if you were at 25% fat, you'd have 11 kg of fat on you... and that's what it looks like... this is why you have your spinal cord sticking out, and your ribs sticking out, and i bet your collar bone shows from a mile away but you still have some fat on you.
you have to build muscle... you have to weight train intensely and heavily... you ahve to eat the right food to gain some lean tissue that'll help you get rid of the fat you hate.
you are obviously listening to what the media tells you to do, or people who don't know what the hell they're talking about. you are doing the exact bull*** that's being spewed here and i keep telling everyone it won't work. sit ups won't burn fat from your abs. never did... never will. you took their advice, and you just wasted time. you were bulemic and anorexic... people like that usually have body image problems and they look for the easy way out... it's much harder to train heavy and eat 6-7 clean healthy meals per day than it is to just stick your finger in your mouth whenever you binge.

go to the gym, lift weights, go on a 30/40/30 diet split, do minimal cardio, eat around 1500 calories per day divided into 5 meals. and see how that goes.

First off let me begin by saying that you need to concentrate on putting on weight rather than losing it. a man finds a little tummy attractive. more cushion for the pushin eh! but if you're so bothered about a good 'figure' then maybe you shud try going about it the right...by toning your body and building up a little muscle but losing fat is out of the question coz girl you dont have fat to lose. check out dis excerise and diet chart by some of bollywoods most talked about bodies:

you have kareena kapoor who is stick thin but like you she wants to lose weight. but unlike you though she goes about it the right way - by eating the right kind of good and getting a good protein intake so her bones wont have to fall off!

I think the best way to get rid of your problem tummy is to exercise by doing crunches alternated with leg lifts. Results won't happen over night. Stick with the program of 200 every other day and remember that muscle burns fat. It is possible to be a stick and still be fat. Muscle takes care of that.

I don't think that members should be giving advice on losing weight to someone who has explicitly stated that she suffers from eating disorders that are potentially life-threatening.

the only way to get a flat stomach is to have stomach muscles and the only way you can do that is by eating foods that contain lean proteins.the proteins help your body produce those muscles which will go to your stomach or abdominals.200 situps is unnecesary mainly because situps only work the top part of your abs and doing 200 puts alot of strain on your back and neck, you should strive to use a seat that bends back 250 degrees or more so you can work your whole abdominal area.i hope this helps in getting u tht flat stomach.
