Okay to work out? I'm 14?!


Question: I been doing a lot of crunches and push up everyday and I wonder if it okay to work out? I haven't been doing any weight lifting or anything I'm just using my body to gain muscle. Also I'm taking protein shakes because I'm really skinny I'm like 110 pounds and I'm about to be 15 yeas old in 3 months.

Its fine, i used to have those issues too, but i don't suggest just using your body for building muscle, its not as effective as lifting weights. Protein shakes are good to drink but in terms of putting on mass, then weight gainers cant be beat. also eat alot of carbs after workouts and all through the day.

I worked out when I was 15, and I loved it. Just don't overdo it and make sure that you know how to use the weights correctly because that is when weight lifting is harmful.
