How often should i rest? should i rest less?!

Question: i work out in the gym for 45 minutes 5days per week. I run 4 days per week. (20 minutes 2miles per day.) i play basketball on the 5th day for 2-3 hrs and if i don't play, i run as if it were my run day. My rest days are saturday and sunday.

On my only two rest days, i don't do anything, because i have to catch up on hw., and i hang out with my friends. Should i reduce my rest day to only sunday? am i doing enough cardio? please help!

Keep it up and you'll see great results. I used to do nearly the same thing when I was in the best shape of my life. Just make sure the gym workouts are making you sweat and you're not resting 2 mins inbetween sets :)

As far as how much rest you need - thats up to you. Listen to your body. If you're not motivated at the gym, have no energy, etc - take a day off mid-week like Wednesday for a few weeks and see how you go.

Lots of different options, just need to find one that works best for you. As I said, you're doing great from what you've described. Good luck!

Are you trying to loose weight? or just maintain or get buff?

you sound good enough..keep it up..

I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. It's really a colon cleanse, and it's a healthy way to detox, not like most diet pills. Check their website at
http://www.thin-diet.us , my aunt got a free trial and paid only $4.95 shipping and handling.
