Is it possible to lose weight with CORE workouts??!

Question: i am so out of shape and i am trying to eat right and exercise. but i am having a hard time doing aerobics. i crash after a workout and then dont feel motivated to do it again because i was exhausted. i found that yoga and bellydance actually get my heart rate up and i have fun. makes me want to do it again. i do break a sweat but im not dripping in it like with other cardio. i thought bellydancing would be low impact and boring, but i actually feel the burn in my legs and i feel stronger while focusing on my abs. im just afraid that i wont lose weight this way.

Yes, you can actually. Especially if you do the videos consistently, about 3 to 4 times a week. Your body should start looking more toned after a few workouts. If you want real results though, you should try to do two more things. Cut back on say one dessert or sweet a day, and replace it with a healthy subsititue like fruit or yogurt. It will help you cut back on calories to lose weight faster and its such a small change that you can easily do it with just a little motivation (imagine how those jeans are going to look!)
The other thing I would do is walk more often. It may seem like work, but going around the block for 15 minutes twice a day will get you results fast. And the fun exercises like belly dancing will be even more effective. Good Luck, I'm looking good now doing similar things!

Hi. Nutrition (that's food) is responsible for 90% of the result. This means if you work out lots but eat lots of junk, don't expect much.

Focus on eating well. Do any activity that you enjoy.
