How much weight is it possible to lose in 2weeks safely?? help?!


Question: Im trying to lose as much weight as i can SAFELY in two weeks for prom...does anyone know how much that is and/or have any good tips? I wieght 130 now and im 5'3" and im turnin 16 on the 26th (same day as prom..yay!! lol)

Hmmm.. That depends. I believe you should put more information about your current physique and figure. If you have fat the best way you can lose it is by cardio exercise and balanced diet.

If you have dedication you ll be able to lose 2 - 5 kg in these two weeks (of course if you have fat).

Cardio Exercise: Running, skipping robe, cycling all these are good. I would suggest the following programme:

1st week: In the beginning (3-4 days) you should try running in low speeds to develop some sort of basic stamina. Do it for 25 -40 min.

For the next 1-2 days of the week, try apart from low speed running, some small sessions of high speed running. This is where you will push yourself and burn more calories.
Warm up for 5- 10 minutes. Try running small sprints (20 - 40 sec )at the 70 -85 % of your capabilities.

Walk 1-2 minutes, run at low - average speed for 2-3 minutes and sprint again. Repeat the whole thing 4-5 times.
Also when you go back home do some situps.
30 - 50 a day will be good.

2nd week: Try to push yourself a bit harder with running and more situps 40 -60 per day.

Diet: AVOID eating chocolates, ice creams, crisps, pizza and generally any form of junk food.
Eat healthy food, lots of fruits, vegetables ,salad, chicken breast, meat without fat and drink plendy of water.

do alot of cardio around an hour and stick to a 1500 cal diet you should be fine

ideally 1-2 pounds a week but can be as much as 3, remember there are 3500 calories in a pound of fat

it depends on your body makeup. if you are 130 and its all muscle then it will be difficult to lose any and you don't really need to. but if its all fat you could probably lose 5-7 lbs safely if you work hard.

In two weeks you can lose 10lbs safely. It will obviously take some commitment, but it can be done. Work out every day (even on weekends) for an hour and 1/2 and stick to a 1200 calorie diet. You should be fine. Just do NOT starve yourself...and if you ever feel hungry, eat.
