Is water bad for losing weights?!

Question: I'm not really fat... I've been on the thin side all my life. But this year I've gone back to my home country and have been eating so much.

Anyway, I always see pro boxers drink very little water while on weight management.. does this mean tons of water is bad if you are trying to lose overall body fat?

Opposite is true. Being a fighter (old one) you drink gallons of water while training. You need the water to regulate your body. Give you energy and cool you down. Not drinking water causes you to hold water in your body and give you very little energy. When you see fighters not drinking water it is usually close to their weigh in. This is a dangerous, but normal aspect of fighting. We dehydrate ourselves before weigh in to drop an extra 10 lbs. But soon rehydrate with massive amounts of water.

No, you have to drink water to lose your weight.. see also http://www.nutritioncontrol.com/

NO!water is the key to losing weight. If nothing else, drink water. It helps cleanse your digestive system of toxins, and thus speeds up your metabolism. When your metabolism goes faster, you digest food faster, meaning you gain less weight. This means you start burning other weight.Just drink water if you are going to lose weight.I drink about 6 litre a day.
