As a fitness coach i help many people set up a diet and exercise plan. Sinse you havent given many details as to how much you weigh now, how much you want to lose, etc, etc, i can only give generic advise instead of specific advise for someone of your size.

When most people think of a diet, they think by eating less, they will lose more. Well to some extent that is true. However, what most people dont realize is while they are eating less, their body goes into starvation mode.

The goal to any diet is to lose weight thru the loss of bodyfat. To be successful there are a few things to keep in mind.

1. Water, water, water.....at least eight 8oz glasses of water a day. Make sure it is ice cold. Ice cold water forces the body to work harder to warm the water to body temperature, thus making the body BURN CALERIES.

2. Eat properly.....there is alot of confusion in this area. Eating properly means eating the right foods to acheive the desired results you want. For example; if I were wanting to lose bodyfat, i would eat 5 SMALL meals a day to keep my metabolism high and running in contant overtime. By my metabolism working overtime, my body if burning fat in overtime as well. Now, dont get confused and think you can eat McDonalds 5 times a day and lose weight and body fat.
Email me and I will expalin this in greater detail and help you lay out a diet.

3. Exercise......exercise is very important to weightloss. Simply put, muscle growth burns fat. Im sure you have heard the saying "muscle weighs more than fat". Well, the truth of the matter is that one pound is one pound. However, it takes MORE fat to create a pound than muscle. So, in a nut shell, when you add resistence training to your diet, you will burn fat but gain needed muscle. Also, along with resistence training, i would also incorporate at least 30 minutes of cardio a day. Cardio being walking, jogging, etc. Any activity that will elevate your heartrate and keep it elevated at least 20 -30 minutes.

I know I have said alot on here, but like I said in the beginning, without knowing your goals, I cant be specific. So, best of luck and I hope all this will help you in your weightloss adventure.

After breakfast, plan out exactly what you are going to eat for the rest of the day and stick to it. Officially schedule in exercise.

Write down EVERYTHING you put in your mouth....all the calories, even if it's one bite.

i suugest u not to remain hungry forcefully in any case..........eat in plenty whats good...........fresh fruits. vegetables...milk products such as curd.....try avoiding cane sugar..meat..excessive salt .....stay away from fried stuff........njoy!

It would be helpful to know what kind of diet you are embarking on.

1) THROW IT AWAY! Go through your cabinets and throw away any tempting food.

2) Get some low-calorie healthy snacks like cheese cubes and nuts. I personally love the Planters Chocolate Lovers' Almonds. Remember, the darker the chocolate, the better it is for you. At least 70% cacao for health benefits.

3)Don't super-cut your calories. Women should not go below 1200 calories a day.

4) Check out caloriecount.about.com. There are bunches of people in the forums for motivation and support as well as a nutrition database to help you count your calories and see how good the stuff your eating is for you. (I'm rgn0622 on cc.com)

5) Get out and exercise! Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk instead of taking the bus. Even cleaning the house is exercise!

6) Don't give up!

WHY

for one thing, eat what you want but in MODERATION AND SMALL PORTIONS!! if you dont you will binge and you will gain everything back. eat smaller porions all the time. for example if you have a bowl of cereal you eat the portion size and you an add things to it liek raisens or a banana. i eat curves ceareal, its plain so i add friuts. for lunch i make sandwhich most of the week (1 day ill eat what i have at school) but i use wheat bread with peanut butter and jelly or bolonga and cheese. with a few wheat thins (16 becuase thats the portion size) and i eat whatever my parents make for supper, but small portions. eat 3 hours before you go to bed. try to exercise as much as you can by doing little things liek walk to work or get up everytime you have to change the channel for tv instead of using the remote.

dont call it a diet, make it a lifestyle change.

Try changing your eating habits try serving half of what you usually eat, dont starve yourself, that will make you gain weight, try to eat more greens and fruit, stay away from fatty foods, drink PLENTY WATER, and walk around the block if your health will let you

A lot of people, women especially, will pig out on healthy foods. Just because your salad is packed full of veggies, and is healthy, doesn't mean that you can pig out on it. You'll consume just as many calories. Make sure you exercise .. If you don't really have the time, try going for a walk on your lunch at work, school or whatever .. Try to park as far away as possible from the doors of a store, get off at the bus stop before the one you usually do .. Just try to get exercise, whether you can go to the gym or not. : ) Try keeping your calorie count under 1000, but don't count your drinks .. A vegetable drink would be good .. Ie, Allen's vegetable drink has two servings of vegetables, only 60 calories, and you don't even have to count them as part of your 1000. Watch the fat content as well as your calories .. There may only be say, 200 calories, but half of them could be from fat! Not good. .

best of luck follow it.. u will do it..

Honestly, you shouldn't do it if that is your mind set.
If you want to lose weight, you should be doing it in a healthy way... and just make healthier decisions.

When you do "lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks!" diets, you'll gain back a ton of the weight you lost because your body can't function on that stuff all of the time...

so instead of going on a diet, just change your lifestyle... take the suggestions of other answers, such as get rid of all of the junk food in your house and WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU EAT and get exercise, will make a huge, lasting difference

believe me, i would know. ive been doing that for the past few months, and i've lost 15 pounds (i didnt keep track for a while and fluctuated a lot) but except for the minor 1-2 pound gain once in a while, I've kept it off. and i'm not on a diet or anything... ive just chaned my approach to eating and i began to acknowledge how much unhealthy junk i was eating in a day.

Eat Fibre foods. Trust me, they are sooooooo good and keep you fuller for longer. For breakfast, try having bran flakes with low fat (semi-skimmed) milk or have wholegrain bread with cheese and a fruit.

Nuts and Raisins (only a handful) for snacks (or cheese cubes)

But the most important thing for you to do is.........EXERCISE, it helps you lose weight AND tones you up.

Good luck with it ;)
