Why arent I seeing results?!

Question: people say if you start walking for an hour a day or something, you'll start to see results in about 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago i started a job as a waitress at a busy pub, i'm on my feet constantly walking around for 5/6 hour shifts, sometimes more, saturday i did a 12 hour shift (that killed me!). but i havent lost any weight at all! not 1 pound, i weigh the exact same as wen i started 2 weeks ago! why is this?? i'm thinking of doing extra exercise in my spare time.

Basically muscle weighs more than fat. As you build up muscle its better to look for physical changes. Better definition and clothes feeling different are more an indicator.
A friend of mine is very fit. He is also very muscular. According to the BMI charts he is morbidly obese. There's not an ounce of fat on him.

Well depending on your diet as well plus to burn fat you need to get you heart pumping

perhaps u aren't eating the right things aswell. if u eat after 6pm u will store it as fat, try calorie counting and have a limit of 1500 a day. this will soon help just avoid junk foods.

Well to be honest, 2 weeks is a very short amount of time. I'm a big execise and fitness fan, and have NEVER seen results in 2 weeks, even with really tough regimes!

Give it some time...if you eat the right stuff then you should start to see results by 6 weeks.

the first thing regular exercise does is turn fat into muscle so your weght hardly changes but i assure you it will fall

Diet is just as important as exercise. I tried many things and my wife and i got good results using an online weight loss program to lose weight. We both achieved our weight loss goals http://www.alfitness.com.au

Two weeks is not enough to see a change in weight unless on a drastic diet that really cuts down on the amount of food consumed or engaged in long hours of intense exercise.

If this continues for another two weeks then you will need to do extra exercise while keeping calories at the same level.

What are you eating, and how are you eating it? Are you drinking a glass of water every hour? You should be ....

Extra exercise could be floor work to train your abdomen, bum, waist and arms - yoga or pilates are both good for this. For now you're doing enough on your feet.
