Seriously how many more calories in a chicken thigh than a breast?!
Question:
Seriously how many more calories in a chicken thigh than a breast?
If anyone can verify exactly how many more calories, I have a running bet w/ my mother. I really don't think it could possibly be that many more. Any experts?
Answers:
The chicken leg is approximately 2 inches beneath the breast.
A good rule of thumb is breast calories x2.= leg calories
Lipids ( fats ) are heavy and gravity causes them to deposit in the lowest dependent portion in greater concentration, hence the difference and the formula.
