Healthy Weight?!

Healthy Weight?

I am 16 years old and about 5' 6". I weigh about 105 lbs. and my BMI is about 17. I eat a ton! I love food!!! I am always called skinny, but am wondering if I am TOO skinny. I know i shouldn't be worrying about how i look and all that stuff, but i am wondering if i am at a healthy weight...


Answers:

Usually the ideal weight for females is 100 lbs for the first five feet and 5 lbs for each additional inch. thats just an ideal weight so at 5'6" , your textbook weight should be 130 lbs.
As for BMI, charts indicate
Below 18.5Underweight
18.5 – 24.9Normal

BUT everyone is different! of course frame size, muscle, etc all play a role. As long as you eat healthy and feel good and maybe not lose any more weights-thats all that matters.
