Question: im 14 5'7 and weigh 112. i want to put on weight and be around 120 pounds. is there anyway i could.?? i know i have to eat but what kinds of food... and in what amounts? please i need help! 10 pts for best answer!

girl u dont need to put on any wieght but if u insist eat a full braskfast AND NO FAST FOOD IT WILL GIVE YOU FOT NOT ANY MUSTLE or the best way too get a bigger build is getting more mustle and working out

yes, there is no magic in there, that is your frame, and at about 16 you will put on more weight. so don't rush it, If you are eating healthy that is all you need

Why would you want to gain weight?
I'm almost 16 and only 94 pounds.

if you want to loose weight dont eat a lot and exercise more often and eat vegetables and fruit but not junk food like candy ice cream and french fries and get more sleep during the day

eat alot of stuff and dont walk afterwards

wach mad tv and eat like satan is forcing u

you want to put on musle or fat, mucle go to the gym, will take a lot longer, but eat food like pasta, then sleep, thats suppost to work, or if its only onece, drink a hole lot of water or somefing elese then you will have put on that weight.

eat alot of carbs (pasta, breads,and what not)

Work out not cardio,but,Low repitition weights Higher weight,low reps,around 8-10. Eat eggs,fish and rice.

Don't do the sugar sweets thing. My friend was trying that and after 2 months she know has all these cavities from all the acids and the pop she drinks. I'd recommend eating a lot of fatty meats and potatoes. Carbs make you fat too but also arnt the healthiest.

Food with protein, fish, steaks works well, potatoes. You also want to work out so that you just won't gain weight. You'll also gain muscle and not just fat.

relax and quit worrying about it. you are at that age where your body is growing so fast that you can eat enough to keep up with it. In time you will. Protein shakes are good and so is ice cream but not obsessing is best. As long as you eat healthy you are fine and your body is just being how a tall 14-yr-old body is supposed to be. Don't worry unless your doctor at your annual checkup is worried and if she is, just take her advice.

uhm if you are just going to eat to put on 8 pounds it might come in as fat you should probably lift weights and work out drink plenty of milk and hardy lunches and breakfists

Eat meat and pasta, that way you get lots of calories but dont get unnatural foods like high fructose corn syrup.

eat foods high in protein. thats a healthy wieght gain instead of fatty stuff like candy and fast food. go to wal-mart or a nutrition store and you can find powders and bars that specially made to gain weight.

Eat 4-6 meals a day, try to gain muscle, not fat.... i would also work out to gain muscle mass.

DONT eat Mcdonalds or anything like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... OK that makes u gain weight but also cholesterol and bad stuff! and good 4 u!

eat healthy, and if you dont gain weight, then u r naturally thin so just be happy :).

well im 5'4 and im 91 pounds and im almost 12. i think im a little under weight but i dont need to gain weight. be happy the way you are. unless url ike too skinny then i think we all know how yummy brownies are <3

Just eat alot of hot cheatos and if u want ill feed u some chocalate and chorizo con huebos micamote

You should eat a lot of junk foods like... chips, pizza, candy, hot dogs, hamburgers, ect, for a few days and see if any of those foods made you gain any pounds. You should drink sodas like coke, sprite, fanta,ect. My main point here is to eat and drink stuff that has about 2 times more the calories than you normally would eat/drink in something else.

my husband has always been super skinny but he gained about 25 lbs in the last 3 months by eating more junk foods and carbs.....i made potatoes and/or pasta with almost every meal......and he lifts weight......

i dont see why someone would want to gain weight but, anyways my mom told me that when someone is trying out for a part in a movie/play for a heavier character they make them eat crispy cream donuts but i am pretty sure that eating anything unhealthy would help you gain weight. dont stuff yourself or anything because then you will get sick.

well first your could eat donuts and chicken turkey
well stuff like you eat on thanks giving dont run around alout be a couch potato and eat like five times a day and make sure if your full eat more even if you are mabie even eat while watching tv or on the computer try to eat as much as you can and im sure you will gain pounds. =)

Eat carbs like rice and noodles

Seriously though, don't worry yourself sick

eat all the time..some kind of snacks (nuts ,dried fruits)make yourself different kind of shakes..with milk..ice cream (ice cream isnt junk food , just chose carefully, you must pick natural one ) !
use the same products only with higher fat level(milk, cheese,curds,cream)
but with this all still remember, to eat healthy, don't eat junk food!

why would you want 2 lose weight??? that is a good weight 4 your age!

dont try 2 gain weight..

im tryin to gain weight myself an the best i can tell you is what ive been told i think this is jus for packin on muscle weight but basically comes down to protein protein protein eat 5-6 good sized meals a day try snack in between but make your meals kinda healthy cut down on grease you wanna gain weight not have a heart attack try protein supplements too some have worked for me but at 14 you really shouldnt be too stressed about your weight tbh go see your doc he/she will be able to tell you plenty of healthy ways to gain weight anyway good luck its a slow process

sweets. especially eat late at night you gain twice :)

but if you put on weight now...you'll regret it when you get older...i promise :P
