My son is 4 and personally I think is a tad bit overweight but not obese. Someone snapped his picture and posted it online as a joke. I am so upset. Is he really that fat?

i would say that he is overweight. right now is the time to fix it. he can be retrained now on how to eat,as to where later it will be a problem. water to drink, take him out to play a lot, fruit for snack, one dessert a day and maybe one soda a day.

If you don't admit that your son is obese I will pray for your son. The chances of your son dying earlier are close to a 100%.
If you can't admit that then you are unconsciously doing things that are making you unable to act in the best interest of your love for your child.

Since you asked you have a chance of setting things right.
Talk to someone that you trust and ask this same question that yuo have asked here.
Then get in touch with a physician and get recommendations for the sake of your son.

That was very mean of that person even if they meant it as
a joke. I don't think they would like it if it was their child.
If you are concerned in the least about his weight discuss
a weight loss program with his doctor.
My daughter was over weight when she was young and I
didn't do anything about it. When she got older she got mad at me for not doing something about her weight, because
she got teased. It also, created some health problems.
Please do something now before he gets any older.
