I'm 17 going on 18 and I want to gain muscle mass. What's the best way t!


Question: Here are the details on my body structure:

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 170 lbs
Age: 17

I am going to start working out 4 times a week for 1 hour after school. I am wondering what type of vitamins or proteins or supplements I should take in order to expedite or aid in the process of my gain in muscle mass. I am focusing on my abdomen region, I would like to have a toned six-pack. I am also focusing on my biceps and triceps as my arms are mildly scrawny.

~My target weight is: 185 lbs.

Any Advice on how I should spend my alloted workout time to focus on those two core areas, as well as what supplements,vitamins, or proteins to take to help the process I would be grateful for.

Do high intensity, medium repetition workouts. Go to failure at 8-12 reps.

Whey protein is also very helpful. Have it especially after a workout--within half an hour of finishing.

Eat a LOT. You need to gain calories to gain mass, and make sure that those calories come from protein. Eat meat, take protein shakes, and lay off the fatty foods.

lift weights every other day

i would also like to know

split up your work outs. work out similar muscle groups. monday say you wokr our biceps forearms and back tuesday chest and triceps and wedsnay shoulders abs and quads. otherwise your body will be to tired and wont grow as fast if you work out a hit loa din one day. and lift heavy enough that you cant lift any more after the 8th rep. its calle dpositive failure and it will trigger muscle growth. go to vitamin world or someplace and buy some whey protein but make sure to drink alot of water since to much protein with out an adequete amount of water will mess your kidneys up.
