Too thin!!!?!


Question: im almost six feet tall and i weigh less than ninety pounds. everyone tells me that i am way to skinny to play any sports. my doctor says he will make me drop out of sports if i lose any more weight by running. the only way i can gain ten pounds is to eat 7000 calories a day for a month and that is impossible. im telling u i almost threw up from eating 3000. he says not to eat all junk food, so im balancing it and thats alot to eat.
someone give me some tips for my very high metabolism.
do you think i will be able to play any sports? or should i give up?

like, drink energy drinks.
And sodas. That's a lot of calories there.

oh man if i were you id start lifting weights. take some weight gainer 2000 ( its a protien supplement ) and GAIN SOME MUSCLE and weight. if u start now id say youll be RIPPED ( as in muscular )

that is kinda scary - u no, eating 700 calories a day. it's probably imposible.
you should still do exercise, but try doing less, and eating more. try to have bigger meals, or having more meals, like including supper, morning tea, and afternoon tea.
you could also have food that is not TOO unhealthy, but not exactly healthy. that way you won't throw up from eating so much junk food, but you'll still put on more weight.
anyway, i think that, other then if your not anerexic, being thin is better then being too fat

wow, that is way too thin. I'm 5'3 and I'm like 97 pounds. Listen to your doctor and don't play sports until you gain weight and eat a lot of foods with protein and healthy fats, like peanut butter and nuts. Don't feel bad, because I was way too skinny at one point too and had to see a nutritionist and eat alot more to get to where I am now. I ate alot of protein and healthy fats, and I treated my self to junkfood every now and than. Also, if you do play sports, make sure that you eat something afterwards, like crackers with peanutbutter, yogurt and fruit, string cheese, etc.
