In the morning do as many as you can untill you cant do one more and your about to cry. Do the same at lunch and at dinner. THis is what i did and i have very nice pecks now!

it should of came with an instructional guide but i found that answer on menshealth.com when i was curious. worked for me..

As many as you can do, plus 10. It should increase over time.

as many as you can stand, every 2 days, take a day to rest so you dont stretch your muscles out or rip 'em.

do as much as you can and then add 2-3 every day
and try to do them.

(the sets and reps can vary according to your age)

I've used this at walmart. I have mixed feelings about it. It takes stress off your hands/wrists. But it seems easy to do. To tighten your chest you need to focus (FLEX) your chest at the peak of your pushup. I'd go for 12-20 reps/set. 3-4 sets. Or build to it if you can't right now.
To tone - high reps

Depends on how much you can do for a time.

If you know you can't do much, try starting with 10 pushups in 10 sets. When you get the hang of that, try 20 and 5 and so on. And keep going. This kind of thing does take time though. But I'm sure in a couple of months (possibly weeks) you will start seeing results if you keep at it.

Don't overwork yourself though. Doing so is absolutely not worth it.

I would do as many reps as i can 3 times a day.

I came across this great product for weight loss (all nautral) and it was excellent for me (it's a detox colon cleanse). Together with a good diet and exercise I am finally happy with my body and the way I look. You should check this product at
http://best-free-thin-diet.us , they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. A must!

if you want to tighten your chest, use a wider grip than the normal push up. sets and reps are up to you.

It comes with a chart to follow. Just follow that chart and you'll be fine.
