I'm thinking about going Anorexic.?!


Question: But only for a little while because
I really wanna lose about 10-20lb.
I mean i'm already in GREAT shape for a guy.My friends tell me i'm crazy but I wanna look really skinny an maybe drop down into a size 3 or something close into girl pants.But basically whould it be best if I go anorexic to lost it quickly?
I dont wanna diet because that will take FOREVER.
I'm looking at it liek I want to be down 10+ lb in 1-2 weeks.
but atleast 20lb in 3-4 week.

should i do it or is there some other way I can lose all that weight?

you don't "go anorexic"
it's a disease that takes over your life
you have no control of it
and yes it ruins your life
people can't just become anorexic it develops on it's own usually to people who don't expect it

Losing that weight is not healthy
you're heart will have serious problems and once you are done you will gain it back quicker
so just do like everyone should and eat healthy and exercise. Don't be an idiot

I highly discourage starvation. You will lose all your muscle mass, you will feel weak, possibly faint and end up like Terry Schiavo(she fainted from dehydration). When Terry collapsed, she suffered brain damage and had to live on a feeding tube. Report It

    Do you know how many people anorexia has killed?
    You don't "choose" to be anorexic anytime you want it's a long time illness.
    anorexia is a mental illness it is not something that you choose to be or can turn off or on.
    Be happy you don't have it, anorexia has destroyed the life of thousands of people.

    sure if you wanna get sick. is there another way to lose the weight? yea.... exercise and eat healthy foods. starving yourself is not the right choice even if its for a little while.

    Once you loose it, you will gain it back when you return to your normal eating habits. Instead of being dramatic, why don't you consume LESS food rather than no food at all? A diet isn't temporary, it's forever. I suggest that you don't take in more than 1400 calories if you want to lose weight the healthy way. By the way, being anarexic is not a choice, its a mental illness. :/

    I STRONGLY suggest you avoid anorexia. A good way to lose weight is to avoid as many carbs as possible after dark.

    Exercise and eat healthy. The main place is snacks. ALWAYS carry fruit.

    talk to your bf about losing weight. He may like how you look and not WANT you to lose weight!

    But anorexia is NOT good. Also, strangely enough, one of the BEST ways to lose weight is to NOT skip any meals. Oatmeal for breakfast is healthy and keeps you energetic through the morning.

    I have had anorexic friends. Your cheeks sink in. Your hair gets brittle. And you get ADDICTED.You may fall into binge/purge, as well. It doesn't make you more attractive. Just look up healthy meals, drink lots of water, and MAKE sure you get all yoru necessary nutrients!!!!!

    Anorexia is a disease. You do not want to get it. It is potentially fatal. Saying I'm only going to be Anorexic for a little while is like saying I'm only going to get AIDS or Pnuemonia for a little while.

    There is one way to take off weight in a healthy and long lasting way: Proper diet and exercise. No quick fixes, they don't exist.

    We should definitely email each other. I feel exactly like you. I wanna lose 15-20lbs .I've lost some weight but now that I'm close to my goal it's coming off so slowly. I try not eating very much. Usually one meal and the rest of the day just fruits. I just bought Xpel for water retention. It makes you pee a lot but it's working. I lost 4 lbs already and this is my second day taking the pills. I'm thinking of buying hydroxycut max. A friend says it works.Also, try a laxative. I use Smooth Move. It works wonders.

    NEVER GO ANOREXIC!!! it can make you very sick just like the singer from silverchair he went anorexic because people would tease him and he wanted them to stop he did get them to stop but he got down to only about 55 lbs! just instead of losing weight try gaining some muscle trust me you will be much happier.

    Starving yourself won't help you lose weight quickly, and on top of that, it's super dangerous. When you stop giving your body food, it goes into a starvation mode, meaning that it holds on to every little bit of food you put in your mouth. When your body realizes that it's not getting any nutrients, it starts eating away at your muscles and tissues (not your fat stores, because it's saving those for when it goes really hungry). If you starve yourself, you'll lose muscle mass, you won't be able to focus, your skin will lose its healthy luster, your hair will dull and eventually fall out, your nails will stop growing, and your organs won't be able to do things as well as they need to.

    If you want to lose weight (to me, it doesn't sound like you need to) eat healthy foods--fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, skim milk, no-sugar-added fruit juices, lean cuts of meat, and drink plenty of water.

    Losing 10+ pounds in 1-2 weeks is basically impossible--your body won't let you lose that much that quickly because it's unhealthy. The weight you lose when you first start dieting, eating healthily, or exercise is water weight anyway, and after the first couple of weeks, the appropriate amount to lose is 1-2 pounds. Any more than that and it means your body is feeing off of itself.

    Don't go anorexic. It's not as simple as going on or going off. It becomes an addiction, literally, that you can't tear yourself away from. It's not worth it. I promise.

    Don't do it! Starving yourself slows down the body's metabolism, so when you start eating again the weight will pile on quicker than before. Not to mention all the health problems that it can cause.
    Even if you did lose that weight, would you really be happy? You'll always want to be a bit skinnier (which, by the way, is NOT a good look!) so listen to your friends. You already admit you're in great shape - don't abuse that. Anorexia is a serious illness that kills many, it's not something to dabble in "for a little while".

    You are offending everyone who has ever had to struggle with an eating disorder. This is not something you can just chose. They all wish they did not have the disorder yet you want it.

    if you starve yourself your body will actually store fat and break down muscle tissue for fuel - its called survival mode its designed to keep you alive as long as possible should a famine occur

    and as muscle tissue is what decides your metabolism in the first place you really dont want to be losing that!

    lose muscle - slow down your metabolism

    your right if your starve yourself for long enough you will get thin- right before you die... but if you start eating normal again you risk ballooning as you no longer have the muscle tissue to use up those calories

    OMFG DON'T GO ANOREXIC.
    and dieting DOES NOT take forever. trusttt meeee. not only is going anorexic TERRIBLE for your health, if you do lose weight after it, you'll only gain it right back. quick fixes are never the way. trust me.
    to have a good diet that you can keep and that will give you results, you have to do this:
    eat as much fiber as you can. it boosts your metabalism. but dont eat a lot of bread. that has too many carbs. you can get fiber supplements if u want.

    eat yogurt, fruits, and vegetables. they are really healthy and they keep you full. so does fiber.

    don't eat a lot of cheese or sugar. whenever possible, use honey instead of sugar.

    avoid fat whenever possible. dont use too much dressing or cheese.

    exercise EVERY DAY. you can run, ride your bike, or play a sport. even after you stop, you are still burning calories. but dont over-do it. like 30 mins would be good.
