Not eating for 4 days?!

Question: My grandfather says that if I want to lose weight I need to train my body. He has been a doctor for the last 15 years. He says that I should stop eating for 4 days. I can only have water. Then he says on the 5th day, I should only eat 600 calories from then on. I'm 140 pounds, about 5'2. Do you think that is a good idea?

eat small, healthy meals at least 4 times a day, drink lotsa water, exercise, and you will be fine.

I think that's a totally scary idea. You don't need to do that extreme type of dieting. Just eat reasonably, monitor calorie intake, and eat less calorie dense foods.

False.
To keep a good BMI Body Mass Index, better follow a Low Glicemic Index program.

no its a really bad idea u will lose energy, get dizzy, and headaches and also once u go back to eating normaly ALL the wieght will come right back

thats NOT GOOD! u actually want to starve to death or getting weak?there plenty other ways to loose weight. www.nutrisystem.com

That doesn't sound like a very good idea.
Not eating for one day already is not good, you'll begin passing out if you go more then a day, sooner or later.
That, and you'll have bad stomach pains- craving that food in your fridge.
So instead of not eating for four days, try different diets for a while.
Switch it around until you find one you like.

Great post! I totally understand how you feel. I'm also trying to lose weight and I found this great product which is working for me (it's all 100% natural - a colon cleanse that was really gentle on my body. I feel so good and I lost 15 pounds). You can check the website at
http://thin-and-free.us , I had a free trial and paid less than $5.00 shipping and handling. Best of luck!
