Boost Metabolism?!


Question: I'm looking to see if anyone could recommend any particular vitamins that have been known to boost metabolism.

I'm 5'5, 140 lbs, and my doctor says I'm perfect for my height, but that losing about 10 lbs wouldn't hurt me. Prom is coming up and I just want to lose a little weight. I'm active, I work over 20 hours a week, go to school, and do things, but I usually can't dip below 138 lbs.

So I wanna try something new, perhaps something that could help boost my metabolism a bit? I've also heard that small protein packed meals help. I'm usually working in the evening so my dinner is a free for all, so if there some protein bars or metabolism boosting vitamins anyone could suggest I would be much obliged.

I also don't need any YOUR FAT, or WHY ARE YOU LOSING WEIGHT, remarks either, just some suggestions.

You can boost your metabolism naturally which is a lot safer by eating smaller meals throughout the day. I once read an article that said that Americans are starting to become grazers. I know it makes us sound like farm animals but it works i went to eating 5 small meals a day and doing about 45 min of cardio 5 days a week and it boosted mine! For example. I eat breakfast then 3 hrs later i eat a light snack then 3 hrs late lunch and a snack and dinner. Well you get the point. The idea is to keep your metabolism working it will rev it up just make sure its a healthy lifestyle. ie dont eat snicker or reeses as your snack that just adds fat and calories and defeats the purpose! Have a wonderful prom!

to boost metabolism, drink two cups of green tea a day

it works for me, but if you do that make sure not to eat a lot of sugar because sugar decreases your metabolism

Ok,i find that drinking about 3 glasses of water in the hours APROACHING a meal helps the food to digest fatser.You don't have to use vitamins to boost your metabolism.Just plain old water will work.It does make your kidneys work more,but that helps burn extra cals.With them working,and your digestive system going faster,plus all the extra things you do in a week(your work,school,etc) you should be shedding the pounds in no time.Just make sure your diet is healthy,and you should be fine.No need for vitamins,or supplements ,or even visiting a gym,as long as you change your diet,and drink a lot of water.And the best thing about water:ITS REALLY CHEAP!

eating activa is really good .. before you go to bed eat one and it helps me lose weight .. it helps for some people if they eat healthy then eat that before bed!!
