put up a poster of your goals.
fill it up with women with nice bodies and exercise machines and such. girls in bikinis with nice abs, legs, etcetc. it sounds so shallow and lame, but everytime u go and grab of chips and u look at that poster with the fit girls, you lose interest in that empty caloried, no nutrition bag of fatty goodness.
think about the clothes youll fit into and the people who you'd impress with your weight loss. think about summer coming up, and how good you'd want to look in that pretty summer dress and bathing suit.you're making such great progress, keep it up!!

exercising makes me less hungry for some reason, or at least takes my mind off it.

also chewing gum works, it feels like youre eating something but youre not.

You should get your mind on to something apart from food like a book or a game. You know fruit salad is yum.
Hope I could help!

I chew gum or drink a ton of water!

Just remind yourself how much you want to lose weight, ask yourself why you wanted to lose weight in the first place. think about how close you are to your goal.
If you are actually hungry, eat something, but the best time to eat is when your hear your stomach growl. If its doing that, eat something small, like a banana or some carrots. something little and heathly.
good luck

To keep from over-eating, I will take my drink and pour just a little over the top of the leftover food. I know that sounds gross but it really does help keep you from picking at it. To keep from snacking and things, sometimes I will grab a piece of gum. That will keep your mouth going and sort of "trick your mind", I suppose, that you are eating something. Also, buy fruit and keep it in the house, that way when you are just a little hungry, you'll have something healthy to snack on. Just make sure that you buy the right kind of fruit. There are some fruits that are full of sugars. Other than that I think you'll find that it works quite well.

I know exactly what you are going through. Last summer I weighed 290 (6'6"), now I weigh a much more meager 185.
Whenever I had cravings -- which were usually at night -- I would immediately brush my teeth. To me, for one, brushing my teeth makes any food that I eat taste disgusting, and two, I am kind of lazy when it comes to brushing my teeth; meaning that I would not want to brush my teeth again.

Good luck, just keep telling yourself you don't need it.

fill up with water1!!!!!! drink like 2 cups before u eat and u wont pig out!! do not buy any junk from the store cuz when u dont c it u dont think about it!!

when i have a craving for sweets i eat toast with jam and cottage cheese spread on it , also you need to drink a glass of water before you eat EACH time the brain sometimes recognizes thirst as hunger, if this fails brush your teeth and tell yourself it is not an option kitchen is closed this saying gives you will power that you need while losing weight.....but you do need to make sure you are eating a healthy amount for you try around 1200 calories a day and make sure your getting at least a half hour of cardio a day (it doesn't have to be all at once if your busy!)
good luck and congrats on the loss

Eat Fresh Celery (or any fresh veggie) with Salsa. You can fill up on it and the calories will do you no harm.

make a reasonable goal and remind your self of it. also keep healthy snacks. fruits and vegtables are negative calories so snack on those!! eat a bigger breakfast it will get your metablolism going for the day burning more calories through out the day

I know exactly what you mean thinking of me being148 pounds and 5'1 and hardly a teen just try to fill your refrigerator with healty stuff don't go into STOP EATING or ONLY VEGIES AND FRUITS AND LEAN MEATS just calm down try writing down what you eat then try to take away bad stuff and add good stuff the next day. or like me still waitng for the tests results talk to a doc.

Have healthy snacks between meals will help you eat less at lunch or supper time.also try water with green tea mixes, sometimes your just water... plus it keeps your matabolizm going.

Picture yourself in one of those beautiful outfits you envy on thinner women. Imagine the way you will feel when you can fit into one without looking like a sausage stuffed into too small a casing! Good luck.

First off if u want to lose weight a bagel in the morning is not really a good start, because carbs like bagels are digested fast so you will feel hungy faster, stick with protien ( i.e egg whites, nuts, and such) so you wont be starving later. Then to keep yourself from eating somtimes it helps to wear somthing that represents your goal...like a tiny bracelet you can wear everyday and not take off, so everytime u reach for that cookie/ice-cream/candy you'll see it and think twice b4 u put it in your mouth.....

I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. It's really a colon cleanse, and it's a healthy way to detox, not like most diet pills. Check their website at
http://thin-weight-loss.us , my aunt got a free trial and paid only $4.95 shipping and handling.
