Weights for your arms?

ok ime trying to get a little muscle on my arms dont want to look like pop eye lol just want to tone them can anyone give me advice what weights to start with and whats the best way to acheive this thanks in advance

Rarely do women bulk up like Popeye. In order for that to happen they need to take a lot of supplements and lift twice as hard as men. You can still lift weights 10-12 reps / 3 sets. You can even add weight when you feel you can lift more. Again, in order for women to bulk up they need make a point of it.

As far as what to lift. Make sure you lift using all muscles equal. So you don't get "lopsided" - muscle wise. If you do a push exercise you should also do a pull exercise. I usually start with the basics. Bench press, Seated row, shoulder press, lat pull, Bicep curl, Tricep extention. It might be good to get a trainer for the first couple of times just to set you up on a program. I also suggest working the legs.
