Question:

Why so thin????

I have always been really skinny and tall, but whenever i try to bulk up a bit, i do weights for hours every day for weeks on end, and i eat loads
but i never actually notice any difference, amny advice for how to put some weight on???(lol sounds weird)

Answers:

Have you changed your diet? Are you eating enough proteins? Weight lifting will promote muscle growth but if the body doesn't have the building blocks for it (proteins) how is it supposed to do it?

The other thing that you need to consider is the amount of weight and the number of repetitions that you are doing. If you train with heavy weights and for a short number of repetitions you will elicit muscle growth, because you will promote muscle strength. If you do a large number of repetitions with light weight you will elicit muscle endurance and your muscles will be leaner. This happens because muscles need to have all the metabolic supplies close by so they can resist longer training periods. This happens to marathon runners, their muscles are really small but that is because they need to be like that so they have all the energetic machinery available when needed.

Look for a good strength training program and stick to it.
