Am I fat?.... Should I be anerexic?!

Question: I am 5'6", im 14, and I way 115 punds..... WTF?? About 2 months ago i use to way 110 lbs. And that was when I quit my swim team.... I love to do sports and fun stuff, But I have SOooo much school work to do and lots of extra curricular activities like being in plays. So, I have NO time to have fun and exercise. I eat regularly, and i drinks lots of water. Also, my dad is going to take me to ELITE modeling agency and I really want to know If im good enough. Maybe a diet? At lunch i always eat a sandwitch and water AND THATS IT... unless i have dinner and breakfast. My dad is a 5 star chef so he ALWAYS insists i eat his food (and omg its sOo tasty) But If I am to become a model, i should become anerexic right? so maybe i should only have one sanwitch and lots of water everyday. But i an afraid that Im going to have a borring life without tasty food. My family is well known to have SUPEr fast metabalisms so maybe its not a good idea? idk... help please?

Your BMI is 18.6, which is perfect! (Calculate it yourself at http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/) Healthy range is between 18.5 and 24.9. So you're about as slim as you can get without being unhealthy.. Sounds like a great deal to me! Don't forget that you need a butt and boobs to model too.. ;)

FYI, models that have a BMI of below 18 are being banned on the catwalks, so I wouldn't get much slimmer if I were you.

Plus you don't want to end up looking like them: http://www.people.com/people/gallery/0,,...

lol, don't worry, I've got that :) Report It

  • I would seriously hope you're kidding about becoming anorexic. It's terrible for your body and definitely not the answer here.

dont go anerexic people will know and y stop eating dont do it maybe eat right and excersise see a doctor ask him / her wat to do dont be stupid!

You're far from being fat at your age, height, and weight. I'd just eat normally if I were you. You should never become anorexic. No matter how fat you are, the problems from anorexia will be worse.

no way! you are sooo not fat! im 14, 5'9'' and 133. last year i was 5'7 1/2'' and 133. you might be getting ready for a growth spurt. according to your BMI (body mass index), you are 18.6. 18.5 IS THE CUTOFF FOR UNDERWEIGHT!!! you are fine. go get some confidence!

Are you kidding? "Should I be Anorexic?" Anorexia is a disease that you have to go through therapy. And your not even that fat. I have a friend age 12, 5'6" she wieghs just two pound below you and she is sooo skkinny. She just has wide hips. Its a good thing.
