Tips for eating healthy?!


Question: Ok, so i love junk food...i am addicted to chocolate and i drink 1-2 sodas a day. i love fast food and every other kind of food thats bad for you...im not fat but i do want to lose a little weight, but i don't like fruit...i like vegetables and i would really like to cut out a lot of my soda intake and drink more water but i don' t know how...any advice?

Don;t go cold turkey.

Try drinking at least 5 8-oz cups of water a day with LESS soda. I wouldn't go to just all water though. try fruit drinks or other things that are better for you than pop.

One of the best things you can do to be healthier is make sure to get protein and whole grains. Eat whole wheat bread instead of white. Eat oatmeal (even if you add chocolate or honey to it). A great healthy dinner is fish.

If you like vegetable then maybe you will like all the new V8 drinks that are out.... They are amazingly good.

Just know to take junk food in moderation. There's no reason that you can't eat healthy and still enjoy bbq every once in a while!

hmmm, if you can't exactly go suddenly from soda to water then you could drink protein water.

Try eating 1oz of extra dark chocolate in a day if you have to have it, its good for you because of the antioxidents. Just stop drinking soda cold turkey. You might get a few headaches but thats normal. As for healthy eating, add fresh veggies into your diet, and try to eat lean meats. If you dont gain weight, you can always eat it once a week, but dont go all out with fries, milkshakes and all of that, do a kids meal, since the portions are a normal portion for an adult.

From experience I can tell you that to control your appetite you have to manage your sugar intake. When your sugar is low, you feel hungry, when it is too high, you feel hyper. Responding to the lows and highs turns into what is called a sugar habit, which like all habits, can be hard to break. Adding caffeine or diet pills to the mix just makes it even harder to get under control.

About three months after I started a well-balanced nutritional program, including minerals, trace elements, vitamins, anti-oxidants, and multiple kinds of fiber and protein, my blood chemistry was considered
