Need to lose about 15% body fat in 1 1/2 months?!
Question: ok so im 5'9, 16 weigh 180 punds. but i have 27% body fat. i need to lose some weight so i can get a 6 pack by june( i made a bet with someone) i work out alot for football. but i dont feel like it will get me there in a month. so any advice on what i should eat or do. etc...???

Run alot and eat a healthy diet. Eat high protein, low fat foods, and carbs consisting of whole grains. Get on a consistent exercise regimen, cut out soda, juice, all sugars, and replace with water (not gatorade). Drink 8 full glasses a day. Eat 5 to 6 small meals a day spaced out evenly as this will keep your metabolism at its peak. Foods such as but not limited to eggs, fat free cottage cheese, fat free or lowfat yougurt, turkey, lean chicken, skim milk, natural peanut butter in moderation, whole grain bread, tuna, vegetables, kashi go lean (cereal), coffee (yes it speeds up the metabolism as long as its not loaded with sugar e.g. starbucks), green tea, fish, and shrimp. Fats should be healthy such as nuts, natural peanut butter, flaxseed oil (get @ gnc or vitamin shoppe), fish body oils. DO eat carbs, just in moderation and never after 6 or 7 at night since carbs are the bodies main source of energy. Example of a days diet:
8/9: Cup of Kashi Go lean with skim milk OR Oatmeal OR egg white omelet, banana
10-11: Nonfat yougurt, protein shake
1: Tuna/Turkey sandwich on whole wheat, no mayo (only miracle whip, mustard, etc.) or cheese, glass of milk, spoon of peanut butter on celery
3-4: Protein shake, carrots, half a sweet potato
7: Grilled chicken breast with bbq sauce OR fish/turkey, peanut butter with banana, cup of veggies, cottage cheese, glass of milk
Before bed: another protein shake or as i like to do, eat 3 or 4 slices of turkey (tryptophan helps you fall asleep)
Another thing...if you really want to get serious take whey protein during the day and casein protein at night. Whey dissolves quickly while the casein protein is slow in dissolving which means its feeding your metabolism through the night and helping to rebuild muscles better. Take 2 or 3 flaxseed oil pills a day to help speed up the metabolism as well and a multivitamin without iron.

Oh and don't listen to the person who only eats fruit at night. That is not a healthy diet or lifestyle. What i told you is extremely healthy.
Thank you I will try this diet. I did complete the syrup, pepper, lemon fast and it was good for ME. I lost another 10 pounds and I feel great. But it is not something I can do all the time. Thank you for your suggestions. Report It
