Bigger than me: Afraid and scared of becoming like them. I shudder in fear. I also question in my head, "How can that person live? I would probably feel so depressed if I were that fat." However, if I am in a good "non-anorexic" mood, I would probably remind myself that I would never get that big, and would also feel good that the person seems confident and happy despite their weight/size.
Smaller than me: Sometimes jealous if the person looks thin but still pretty. However, if the person is skin and bones, I feel sorry for them.
I'm actually trying to recover, but still, if I see someone bigger than me I remind myself that I am not too far from looking like that and I must stay in controlled eating. If I see someone smaller than me, it reminds me that I still have work to do. Or that I may never look like them and I'll become slightly moody.
