Taking Vitamins the Proper Way?!


Question: I eat relatively well. I try to get my veggies & fruit, but can do way better if I wasn't on the go all the time.I am a bit confused on Vitamins tho. I'm a 48 yr. old female smoker, should I take a Multiple Vitamin, B complex & vitamin C everyday or skip a day in between also I try to take a Vitamin E only once a week( I heard to much E can be harmfull due to storage in liver).

What most doctors recommend is a regular daily multivitamin for pre-menopausal women (senior vitamins if you are post-menopausal) and calcium supplements to prevent osteoporosis later in life (important if you are a smoker). You don't need the extra C, E and B - you get enough in your diet and in the multivitamin. I add in a daily one dose fish oil capsule for Omega 3's - not a bad idea for you.

take them through the mouth, not the anus

for me yes you must take that vitamin..... because it is all needed in our body... they have thier own jobs inside our body in making our body always in good condition..... theres no harm if u will continue that vitamins... but the vitamin E that u said... u hear something bad effects of it, so u will not take too much of it.... u can take that vitamin but in proper way and in right amount...
