Healthiest way to lose weight at the age of 13.?

I am trying to help my sister but I would like to be telling her the healthiest way. She is not overweight she would just like to tone up and maybe lose some weight off of her "love handels."


Answers:

It's always easiest to not put it into your mouth than to have to burn it off. So, tell her to limit sweets and snacks other than fruits.

If she is eating well, then tell her to leave one or two bites, that's all it will take.

And the most important thing: tell her to think of eating as a bodily function like peeing. Seriously. She goes to the bathroom when she has to pee, then when she is done, she leaves the bathroom. If she pays attention to when she is no longer hungry, that's when she should stop eating. She should stop eating when she is no longer hungry just like she doesn't hang out in the bathroom when she no longer has to pee any more.

If she has the time and ability, she then should look into a little more active lifestyle with exercise.
