Hi....my daughter is your age, height and is 85 pounds. She is beautiful, fit and slender. If she lost 10-15 pounds
she would look skeletal and unhealthy.
I think you may have some trouble with your body image. Talk to your parents or another adult you trust , or see a health care provider who can tell you honestly if you are too fat/skinny. It sounds like you are fine to me. It is a normal thing to be a teenager who worries about their weight......the trick is to realize what a healthy, beautiful weight really is. If you are out of shape, firm it up, but don't lose weight!

There is nothing wrong with you, except you need to stop looking at your body in a mirror. The way you are thinking is the start of anorexia, and you certainly don't want that.
Please if anything you are alittle thin maybe five pounds. But you are far from fat.

You dont need to lose weight. You are too young, and you will mess up your metabolism which can lead to a slowed metabolism when you're older. that means, you will be more prone to gain weight if you diet at a young age. dont starve yourself. just eat healthier, enjoy your youth while you can. just dont over indulge on fast food, etc. that stuff isnt good for anyone. but once in a while is okay.

staying active outdoors is a good addition to your day as well. good luck sweetie. i just advise you not to deprive yourself of food.

yes i have a great tip! everyone sees something others dont. flaws. you are underweight for your age! you dont need to loose weight. listen to the people who tell you your skinny! everybody wants to change something about them but there is nothing to change, we are all different in our own way!

At your age I was exactly the same height and weight and believe me there is nothing wrong with your figure - I've since been put into psycotherapy for low self esteem etc and even if you aren't suffering from that you perception of your body isn't healthy.
If you're really set on looking good for swimsuit season, don't try to lose weight - try to tone up; it doesn't really matter what you weigh because everyone is a different shape, and muscle weighs more than fat anyway. Try some toning/floor exercise to flatten your tummy (don't do sit-ups; they don't tone your whole stomach) and tighten your legs etc such as crunches and pilates. The exercise will also release endorphins which make you feel good about yourself, and it sounds like you need some. Eat healthily as well; a good balanced diet with lots of fruit and veg - ero fat greek yoghurt is nice too - and don't skip meals - chances are you won't lose weight and will bloat.
