Why does my back hurts when i do crunches?!

cause your doing them wrong is my guess!. Try doing crunches slowly concentrating on your form and not how many you are doing!. Press your lower back into the floor before you begin your crunch movement and exhale, inhale on your way down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i was in the army so crunches are my thing!. your back hurts from the ground its too hard for your back try a soft surface and dont just do crunchesdo different ab exercises to strengthen your whole ab area!. i used the ab roller machine that you kneel and push and pull the machine back and forth well it strengthens your abs, triceps, back, chest!. good luck and dont over work yourself and remeber to drink lots of water tooWww@Answer-Health@Com

My husband has me do 3-4 sets of 12, sometimes holding a weight disk sometimes without!. Be careful not to hyper-extend when you come up!. It helped me strenghthen my lower back a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you have a weak back, that's normal, it's okay!. just start slow, and build it up, make it stronger, take your time, you're only 15Www@Answer-Health@Com
