Will taking amoxicillin affect my weight loss?
I am detoxing to prepare my body for a diet. I've done this before after I had my 2nd baby and it worked great (I lost 20 pounds then) now I'm doing it after I stoped breastfeeding my 3rd baby. I am on amoxicilin because of an infection. Do antibiotics make you gain weight or something? Will taking amoxicilin affect the detox of my body? I was going to also pay for some expensive lymphatic drainage sessions, but I'm afraid this medicine will affect the results. Help!

Amoxicillin is not known for causing weight gain. As for the lymphatic sessions go, you should wait a few days after you finish medications to go in for those, just to be sure the antibiotics are out of your system.
