The only extra 'weight loss' you will achieve is the loss of water through sweat. The type of 'weight loss' you are looking for (ie fat loss) can only be achieved through cardiovascular work & a sensible, low fat diet. Adding extra layers will not help, they will only make you hotter & sweat more. Take them off & be more comfortable so you can extend your workouts to include more cardio work, this will help with the real 'weight loss.'
