Question: How long do i need to quit smoking in order to run faster!?
Answers:
You will start to notice a difference after a week or two!.
I'm a smoker and a regular runner!. My average time for a 10 km race is 45 minutes!. I did quit for 2 months a couple of years ago and the 2 races I ran in that time were my fastest times ever!. I noticed I had a lot more spring in my step and some energy for a sprint in the end!. Now that I smoke again, my times are back to normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In one month you will notice a big difference!.!.!.but you will start in one week to notice alot of coughing and clearing of 'stuff' from your lungs!. Good luck quitting!. I did it through a recording from Independent Achievement Productions!.!.!.and that's all it took!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well - medically speaking you need to have been not smoking for 5 whole years before they will consider to be a "non-smoker", so there must still be a lasting effect upon your lungs before this amount of time has elapsed!.

So, i am going to go with 5 years before you no longer suffer from any of the effects and can be running at your fastest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stick to jogging for at least a month
give the lungs time to heal, yes heal,
smoking stops the oxygen from getting
to the blood, which you need to feed the
muscles,,,, and get a healthy diet!.
It takes a while to be smoke related free again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To run faster you need to start a regular training program, gradually increasing speed and distance, stopping smoking will make no difference at all, but it will help to slow and even stop the progress of lung disease, provided you have not already been smoking too long or too heavily!. Damage already inflicted on the lungs, such as COPD or emphysema is irreversible, even when you stop smoking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

depends how long u ave smoked for but i guess a few weeks at least!. it would be a good idea, help ur lungs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

smoking doesnt make you run slower or faster, training does!. quitting smoking will help your lung capacity therefore helping you to train better and for longer and without as much discomfort in your lungsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Probably for good few months!. I got back into training and playing basketball, and started using an electronic cigarette i baught online!. So far its been really effective!Www@Answer-Health@Com
