Calorie question?!

Calorie question?

I'm trying to keep my calorie intake to 1000 a day because I don't want my body to go into starvatoin mode and I hear that's the minimum, but should that be before or after all excersize? And is it excessively unhealthy or is it okay? I seem to be doing really well on it,

Even Jenny Craig has a 750 calorie intake.....but I believe,it's NOT how many calories you take in...as long as the exercise is enough to burn up those calories.If you are able to do that...you're fine.If you have been losing weight on this,then you have been burning up more than you are taking in....which is okay too.The calories you take in are more efficiently burned if you take three meals,and three snacks, all day long,than just gorging on two or three meals ,with the same amount of calories.Reguardless,if you are comfortable with 1000 calories....and it's working for you,GREAT! If not happy with the results,then you need to adjust the calories,or the excersises,or ,the combination of both,until you are comfortable again.
