What is the best way to lose weight in the mid-section?!


Question:

What is the best way to lose weight in the mid-section?

My husband is forty years old and he runs 3 or 4 times a week. His legs are fine, but he just seems to keep gaining weight in the middle. Also, I'm against him taking any 'product' for weight loss.


Answers:

What kind of running? Long runs? Have him start doing sprints. I don't really care if he does this in addition to, or in replace of the other running. He should get results assuming he is eating appropriately. He may need to cut back on carbohydrates, especially when they are paired with fats. That leads to fat retention, and the first place it goes is the midsection.
