How much weight should I lose?

I am 14 weigh 150lbs 5'6 going into my sophmore year and play high school soccer and i also have a gym membership. getting excercise is not a problem. but i am wondering how much should i lose?

here's how you calculate your ideal body weight (that's how you're supposed to weigh considering your height):
for a person who'se 5" , the ideal body weight is 100 lbs. for every additional inch to your height, add 5 lbs.
since you're 5"6, your ideal body weight should be 130-135 lbs. you said you're into sports, so it's ok if you're heavier than the other 5'6 tall kids..remember, muscle weighs more than fat!
however, if you wana lose weight, the healthy limit for you should only be 10-15 lbs...take it easy on the weight loss, crash diets dont always work and are really harmful.
just do lots of aerobic exercise, like jogging, eat a healthy diet: more fruits and veggies...and drink lots of water.
Dont ever starve yourself and dont be too obsessed with you're weight, ok?
