Weight loss question, please help?!


Question: Weight loss question, please help!?
I'm 250 lbs!.!.
I started my diet on Wednesday, I was 255 at the time, but I already lost water weight!.
I've been eating healthy cereal with soy milk for breakfast, for lunch a fruit smoothie from Robeks, and for dinner a lean cuisine!.!. I've been drinking a lot of water with squeezed lemon it it, and a glass of green tea a day!.

Ok I'm going to NYC in July, so I have to lose as much as I can!.!.

I'm going to start running tomorrow!.!. I will run an hour in the morning!.!. Yeah well actually run until I get tired walk until i catch my breath ect!.!. And I'll walk an hour at night!.!.

Do you have any other advice!? All would be appreciated!. Please help a sista out!.

It's great to watch your food intake and choose healthy foods, but make sure you are eating enough calories!. Eat about 1500 to 1800 a day, but never any less than 1200, other wise you will be starving yourself and make no progress!. All that exercise will be sure to burn calories!. Choose foods with fiber to keep you full, make sure you are including iron, proteins, dairy and lots of fruits and veggies!. Don't over due the running, a newbie can get shin splints from pushing too hard!. Start with running one minute, walk 5!. As you get better increase the running time and decrease the walking time!. You'd be better off strength training in the evenings instead of more cardio!. Muscles building boosts metabolism and continues to burn calories throughout the day!. Go online to research moves that require no equipment like lunges, squats and isometrics!. Good luck with the weight loss and congrats on making a healthy lifestyle change!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm in the military and I've been given great advice on staying fit!.

I guarantee you that if you weigh 250lbs, then on average, you are eating 2500 calories every day!. Some days you may only eat 1300, and then some days you may eat 3500, but it is a fact, on average you're eating 2500 calories!.

If you want to weigh 135lbs, then eat 1350 calories!. I assure you, you'll eventually weigh 135!. But since your body is used to receiving 2500, start at eating 2250 calories everyday and not 1 calorie more!. Stick between 2150 and 2250!.

In a matter of weeks you will weigh 225lbs!. Then cut back on the calories again say 2000!. Guess what you'll weigh then!?

Oh, and my goodness, if you don't exercise regularly, and you must to get even faster results, just walk for ten minutes and STOP!.

Leave yourself wishing you'd exercised more at first!. You'll be anxious to do it again the next day!. But, if you try to run an hour or until you wear yourself out, you'll not want to move you butt the next day, and you won't!.
