Okay, so here's the scoop:
Because I have a fractured spine and a herneated disk in my neck, I have been out of ALL physical activity for the last 3 months!.!.!.!.and I still have another month to go!.
I can't do much exercising, for it will risk my back and neck getting worse!.!.!.!.!. :(
As you can imagine, after you do NOTHING for 4 months except for eating and sleeping, you put on some weight!. I need to lose about 10 pounds, but I can't exercise hard!. I'm already super healthy and shop at Trader Joes and Whole Foods!. I just need some help to shed some pounds off!.

What kind of diet is best depends on a few things!. Age, sex, current weight, height, medical conditions and medication!.
I healthy person needing to lose about 10 lbs that is female should do the following:
2 proteins daily, 5-7oz each, (turkey, chicken, fish) beef 1xper week is O!.K
2 servings of veggies 1 cup each (NO corn, carrots, peas or potato's)
2 servings of fruit (no bananas, pears, or red grapes) Oranges and grapefruits or green grapes are best!.
2 servings of lite carbs(be very careful of this) each carbs serving needs to be 40 calories or less!. (a few things are wonder lite bread, Stella Dora bread sticks,akmak crackers, 1/4 cup of BROWN rice)
This is the hard part you MUST drink 80oz of water daily!. Regular plain water no flavored or sparkling!.
I would also Advise to have 2 snacks per day consisting of protein or a veggie!. Protein is better, 2oz per snack or 1 egg!.
Make sure you take a good multi vitamin and a potassium supplement!. If you salt your food use 1/4 tsp of mortons lite salt in place of the potassium supplement!. I would also recommend taking omega 3, and omega 6 complex ( one pill) any GNC or vitamin shop should have these!.
