I had a friend once who loved McDonald's french fries, but she was on this special diet worked out with her nutritionist and hadn't had any of the french fries for a long time!. She was like worrying over this because she had a CRAVING for these fries!. Finally, she admitted it to her nutritionist!. The nutritionist told her, "Go to McDonalds RIGHT now and buy those fries for yourself!" My friend was amazed!.!.!.she was glad, but at the same time, she was not expecting an answer like that and so the nutritionist explained to her, "Look, if you don't satisfy the craving for these fries, it becomes almost a psychological thing!. You will get disgusted with the diet you're on and give it up as you have in the past!. So, one box of french fries is not going to mess up our nutiritional plan we have worked out!. You're craving them--I don't want this craving to start messing with your mind to the point that you give up on this plan that you and I have worked out together!. I would rather have you go to McDonalds, eat the fries, satisfy the craving and then get right back on your diet again!. As long as you're letting me in on what's going on, one little satisfied craving is not a big deal!."

So my friend got her fries, ate them, was satisfied and still had success with her nutritional plan!.
I think it's okay to give yourself a treat every now and then, especially when you have earned it by staying on target with your diet for the rest of the time!. So eat your meal guilt free! And enjoy it--it's your reward for doing such a great job with your diet! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
