Answers:

well as you found out it's hard to stick with an exercise program if you don't like it, or you get bored. My suggestion for motivation is just to find something you like to do. I've been dieting and exercising for about three months now and I find it's easy to stick to because I really enjoy the things I'm doing. I do Karate twice a week, Tae bo every other day, the days I don't do Tae bo I work out on an Ab lounge, I go for a half an hour bike ride everyday, and I try to fit in swimming whenever I can. I really enjoy doing these things so it's not a problem. Sometimes I have to motivate myself to get moving but once I do I like it. I also give myself a variety of different things, so I don't get bored so easily. Find something you like, if it's not sports, try martial arts. If you can't do that (or your parents won't pay for it) you can go to the library and check out some exercise DVD's. They might have Tae-Bo there, if they do I suggest it, as it is a good workout but fun. If that doesn't help, just get on your bike and ride around the neighborhood everyday, trying to go up hills and stuff. The key is to find things you enjoy doing so you are motivated to do them. As far as the soda, just cut down at first, try to wean yourself off them. Have one less soda tomorrow, one less than that the next day. Replace one soda a day with water. Good luck hun!
