It depends what your goals and expectations are. If you buy into the hype that it's a magical pill that will result in rapid and easy weight loss, then no it doesn't work. However, if you're looking for an effective natural appetite suppressant, then yes it MIGHT work. Confused yet???

Despite what some of these companies may tell you, hoodia only has the potential to do one thing and one thing only - suppress appetite. The idea behind hoodia is that if you feel full, you'll eat less (i.e. you'll consume fewer calories). Thus, you'll lose weight.

Since all hoodia does is suppress appetite, you still have to do the heavy lifting. You still need to maintain a somewhat healthy and balanced diet and you should exercise when you can.

Hoodia is not a stimulant so it does not increase metabolism or burn fat or anything like that. It contains a molecule called P57 that tricks your brain into thinking it is full.

I said hoodia MIGHT work as a natural appetite suppressant. The reality is, not everyone responds to hoodia. For some people it just doesn't work. It might work terrific for one person and not do a thing for you.

The key with hoodia supplements it to make sure you get authentic hoodia because most of them are fake (meaning they contain very little hoodia gordonii). Only authentic hoodia has the potential to suppress appetite that's why it's so important. If you are considering hoodia supplements, I encourage you to read the following article as it highlights what to look for when you buy to avoid getting scammed:
