Question: How do You Burn Fat!?
Hi, I am really unhealthy and weight 98Kg and am 5ft 10!. I really want to lose fat, I recently bought a treadmill and I am using it every day, but I want to know the best method of burning the fat, I have read on the internet that walking burns more fat than running!. Is this true!? And what is the best method using a treadmill!? Any help will be appreciated!.

Technically, walking burns more fat, but running is more beneficial because it burns more calories, raises your metabolism and builds muscle!.

Think of it like walking is burning the fat from yesterday, running is burning the fat today!.

I know what it is to be way behind! Everyone gives you an overloaded exercise program and diet plan! Start at the beginning, don't worry about keeping up with someone else!. Once you start weaning your body from the slow lane, you will thirst for the good life!. Here is where I started:

I have been on the treadmill between all my kid's births!. I know I burned 1 lb or more a week with a ten min!. walk/10 min!. run/ ten min!. walk!. I built up to the middle 10 min!. run time!. I always ran as long as I could (at first it was 2 min!.) in the middle ten min!. of the 30 min!. workout!. It is not fun at first, but eventually I loved it and the after feeling! One thing I did to get me running, was imagine I was running to someone I missed or loved!. I also only allowed a little dessert if I did my run that day!. After a while I then only allowed a dessert on the weekends if I had run 3 times that week!. Another runner trick is to think that you are the one keeping the world spinning, so if you stop, it would be a disaster! HAha! A lot of the battle is in your mind, so keep some tricks up your sleeve!. You are the strongest runner there is right now! Very few want to run with a load! Keep on! The basic principle is this, if you burn more calories than you eat then you will lose fat!. (ie - diet and exercise have to work together)

The way to do it is to slowly decrease your food intake (or more specifically substitute healthier foods for your current diet) and slowy increase your activity level!.

Walking doesn't necessarily burn more fat than running but it is often a good idea to start with walking if you are overweight or relatively sedentary!. (fewer injuries, less stress on your joints and back)

A good program to follow is to start with just walking, then walk for a minute and then jog for a minute (and repeat) and then slowly stretch out the jogging portion and slowly increase the duration and intensity of your workouts!.

I would recommend starting with 20-30 minutes of walking a day and then stretch it out to an hour and then add in the jogging phase!. An hour a day is a good target (though you shouldn't start there and you can do more if you want to)

You should exercise six days a week and have one day of rest!. Don't forget to stretch your muscles before and after to lessen muscle stiffness and soreness and to increase your range of motion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the way how i burn fat is that i go to the gym and work out for 1hr!. ok then i take a jog once a week and i join weight wacher they really help me cuz imy friend use to be cubby fat!!

Not even close!.!.!. Walking is better than nothing, but will not burn even half the calories that running will!.!.!.

As far as using a treadmill, the most important thing is to build a solid routine!. Meaning, do not worry about intensity right now because your body will need at least 3 weeks to adjust!. For now, just concentrate on staying on the treadmill walking for 1 hour a day, 5 to 6 days a week!. Once again, do not worry about the intensity right yet!.

Once you have done this for 3 to 4 weeks, then slowly start to pick up the pace!. The most important thing, however, is consistency!. Meaning, intensity will not burn fat any fat if you do not keep it up, but doing it everyday will!.!.!.!.

Drink lots of water and eat a healthy balanced diet, ask your doctor about one, they will give you details on the best way for you to lose weight and no junk food !
And yes walking does work too but it must be a long walk, i suggest taking an ipod with you or mp3!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One way, not the only way, but one way is to get one of the little pedometers that clip to your waistband or shoes!. You set it to tell you how many steps you do in a day on average!.

Then you try to add another two thousand steps to your daily average, through walking, running, using stairs, anything!. It's usually easier to add more steps than to start a whole new activity!. If you keep eating the same but take more steps, you'll burn fat and lose weight, and it's easier to add a little bit more to everyday activity than it is to make huge differences all at once!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best way to burn fat is to be active everyday!. You should try to sit-up straight in a chair instead of slouching because you will burn more calories and 3500 calories equal one pound!. You should go running alot like 20mins a day and also do some sit-ups, jumping jacks, lunges, and stairs!. You should really make sure that all the food you eat have a small amount of fat in them and not alot!. When you do those workouts do them in moderation like 25 then stop for 10 seconds and breath until you you get between 100-200 or however long you can go!. You can also try doing dance and sports!.!.Good Luck!
