Breakfast makes me eat more??!


Question: Breakfast makes me eat more!?!?
I'm 60lbs overweight and I've been struggling with this extra weight for about 3 years!. I gained it all the year after I graduated high school!.!.!.!.(well, about 30lbs of it)!.

Latley I've been working harder than I ever have to lose the weight!. I've been keeping a journal for about 3 months of the food i normally eat and the total calories I take in every day!.

People always highly reccomend eating a healthy breakfast becuase they say that people who eat breakfast eat less calories throughout the day and theres a lot of other claims behind eating breakfast!. Since my junior year of high school I have been living by these claims, eating a very healthy balanced breakfast (protein, fruit, whole grains)!.!.!.

Well, after looking at my 3 months worth of a food journal, I've realized that on the days that I ate breakfast (most days) I've consumed 600-1000 more calories than on days when I didnt eat until late afternoon!!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eating breakfast jump-starts your metabolism for the day, it is good!. Try just munching a granola bar or a fruit for breakfast, and if you get hungry again before lunch time, grab another!. Also, the best way i've found to lose weight (just dropped 10 lbs this way) is to stop eating when you stop being hungry!. You should never EVER be uncomfortably full!. After a few days or weeks of not eating until you're full your stomach will shrink back down making it impossible to eat as much as you did before!. You will probably eat more often, but more meals in smaller portions makes a metabolism speed right up!. If you get hungry between your meals just grab a fruit or something small, just enough to satisfy your hunger and get you through to the next meal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to have breakfast!. Just control yourself when you get hungry, and drink a glass of water!.

I agree! If I eat breakfast I'm hungry for the whole day!. Sometimes I fell better off if I don't eat breakfast!. Have you tried eating smaller, healthy meals every three hours!? I eat 4 to 5 small meals a day and it helps me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Breakfast is not wrong for you!. Your body's metabolism doesn't start working until you eat something!. So at night when you go to sleep your metabolism is asleep too!. You have to basically wake up your metabolism but eating breakfast!. Also eating breakfast may cause you to get the hungry feeling sooner but bring along a healthy snack to eat throughout the day!. You are supposed to eat three times a day and two snacks!. Stay away from high fructose corn syrup and any other ingredients that are man made!. The body doesn't know what to do with these things so it stores it as fat!. And we all know fat is bad if there is too much!. lol!. Eating in the morning and doing light exercise will make your day better trust me!. Its really hard at first but once you get it down it will be like second nature to you and you will have to eat breakfast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you wait until you're hungry before you eat the first meal of the day!. Don't have breakfast right away!. Start with a cup of hot water and a slice of lemon!.

If you feel like you need to eat when you get up, start with a piece of fruit, chew it slowly, wait ten minutes!. Do this until you've eaten 3 pieces of fruit!.


It's good to eat breakfast!.!.!.!. if you do get a little hungry a few hours later, its good to snack on a handful of raw nuts and seeds!.

Also try not to eat any cereal containing sugar!.!.!.!. it will only give you an energy slump later on in the day!. I recommend Organic oats, slowly cooked with rice milk!.

Hi i have a 17 teen year old girl that gained a lot of wait 220 pounds and she started to draink green tea and run every day,and the only thing she ate in the morning was eggs a toast and she lost 30 pound in 3 mouths so maybe if you start with the green tea and eat small in the morning and start running it might help you but you have to stay away from junk foods,its hard but you can do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You must eat breakfast!
it is the most important meal of the day and i hope everyone knows that!.
As soon as you wake up you need that energy to get through the day!.
As for getting hungry 3 hours later, you might be eating less at breakfast and more at lunch!.
Basically your breakfast should be high in fibre so try high fibre cereal and maybe along with that have a piece of fruit, which then can be counted as your five a day!.
I usually eat a high fibre breakfast (2 weetabix and an apple and a banana) and then if i do get hungry later on you can have a mid morning snack, like a small health bar (but i do recomend to keep to your fruit and veg as some health bar arn't so healthy)!.

But try and balance all your meals, breakfast lunch and dinner should be enjoyable not a chore!.

when you dont eat for a long period of time you get "peckish" and you nibble on snack foods which arnt so good for you!.
for example, you didnt have breakfast and then 12pm you eat a chocolate bar, and then you have your lunch i dunno sandwiches and some coca cola, then around 3 pm you eat some other junk until your dinner which is around 5-6pm!.
this is what is making you eat more!.!.!.!.NOT having breakfast!!

sorry if that was farfetched or something but i have been studying anorexia and obesity, healthy living and dieting for at least 4 years, as a teenager i know a lot about it for a girl my age, and i have become obssessed witht he fact that teenage girls think that victoria beckham and mary-kate and Ashley olsen (for example) are "perfect" body shapes!.
