Question: Need Help with diet & exercise!!!?
Okay!.!.!.!.!.!.!. Well, I'd really like someone to help me get fit/toned!. I'm 16 and I weigh 140lbs and I really don't eat as heathly as I should be!. And I can't afford to hire a personal trainer!.!.lol!. I'd really like someone to list/tell me what are some of the things I can do and how to do them!.!.!. to tone my body up and if diet helps!.!.!. also to get rid of my monthly acne!. Soo0o0!.!.!. please can someone out there TELL ME WHERE TO START AND HOW!? Also!.!.!.!. what types of excercises should I do!.!.!. and what is a Captains chair exercise!?!? LoL!.!.!.!.

Okay so first off, how tall are you!? That really makes a big difference!. as for excersize, you are looking for muscle building or fat loss!? either way, running is pretty much the easiest way to get fit fast!. Personally, i would Either swim or run for about 40 minutes, and then do some weight training while you are still kinda tired!. One thing to remember though, is to keep changing your workout!. Many people have been doing the same workout for years and years and they are in shape,!.!.!. but they havent been seeing results!. This is because your body easily becomes accustomed to workouts if you do them alot, so one day you might go swimming and then the next you might want to do some cardio!. Also before and after you work out, Stretch!. It makes your muscles loose, but more importantly it stretches your muscles and makes the appearance of your muscles seem elongated and toned!.

As far as acne, find one product that works for you!. I do not really wash my face regularly like 3 times a day like i should, but when you work out, keep a towel!. Getting that excess sewat off your face will make a difference!. you might even want a spray bottle!. Also, DRINK DRINK WATER!. unfortunately there are no blemish miracles, but i promise that drinking water works better and faster than any face wash!. It not only fixes the appearance of acne, but it really cleanses your skin!. not even lying!.

For you diet, i personally believe that there is no way to get fit without exercise!. Just dont starve yourself, it is better to eat TONS AND TONS of salad than not eating for 2 days then binging on ice cream!.
BREAKFAST:
one sliced banana
one glass orange juice
1 slice of buttered whole grain toast

or!.!.!.!.

if youre really hungry!.!.(it happens!!)
english muffin sandwich-
--1 english muffin toasted(dont add butter!.!. it doesnt taste THAT much better)
--1 egg (just pop it in the microwave until its basically all the way cooked then fry it up on the skillet with some pam for about 3 mins)(tastes great and is healthy+nutritious)
--2slices of ham (not sausage!.!.!. haha =)
--CHEESE!! yes!. cheese!.you can eat that stuff!.


EARLY SNACK:
Strawberry-Almond Smoothie (Blend 1 c!. low-fat vanilla yogurt, 1/4 c!. plain soy milk, and 1 c!. frozen strawberries with 1 tsp honey and 1 T almonds);

DELICIOUS!!^^

Trail mix! trail mix tends to be expensive, so you can make your own!. plus you can add only things you like !. but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave out the m&m's! instead add chocolate covered raisins!. they are soo much better for you and you are inevitably forcing yourself to eat a raisin everytimeyou have chocolate!
HINT: i know raw almonds to taste 20X better than cooked salted almonds!. plus they have tons of amino oil yada yada yada!.!.!.!. haha but eat these int he morning onlyy!. they can be slightly heavy!.


LUNCH:
pita sandwich: tomato, grilled chicken, shredded spinach, sprinkle cheese on top

or

sushi!! sushi is healthy because since it is raw, you are able to ingest the maximum amount of weight loss promoting nutrients


DINNER:
Grilled chicken breast with mango salsa
(pretty self explanitory)

OR

grilled chicken with broccoli and green beans
(put them all in a skillet and fry them up, then add some orange glaze sauce and soy sauce!. not that much calorie intake but also is DELICIOUS!. :)

plus one more option since it IS dinner!.!.!.!.

potato, spinach and red bell pepper salad with warm bacon vinaigrette-

1 pound Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1 red bell pepper
1 bacon slice, chopped
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil (preferably extra-virgin)
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup thinly sliced celery
2 cups (packed) baby spinach leaves (about 2 1/2 ounces)

PreparationSteam potatoes just until tender, about 7 minutes!. Transfer potatoes to large bowl!. Char bell pepper over flame or in broiler until blackened on all sides!. Enclose in paper bag; let stand 10 minutes!. Peel, seed and chop pepper!. Transfer to bowl with potatoes!.
