I need to lose 5-10 lbs before next Thursday!?

Any suggestions on how I can get this done? I am going to a water park next thursday and I feel a little "frumpy" is the word i like to you. Not fat but not as skinny as I would like to be either. what can I do just to get rid of those few unwanted pounds around my mid section in a matter of a week. Thanks!

To lose weight, you have to create a calorie deficit. I would suggest that you create 500-1000 calorie deficit a day. Too much and you will send your body in a "starvation mode" and when you return to previous diet, you will gain all the weight back and then some due to a lower metabolism (your energy ability to burn fat).

For eight days, I suggest staying away form all junk foods and fatty foods. Only drink water, milk and 100% fruit juices. Eat small meals more times a day, a trick to make you feel full faster is to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, they don't have many calories and good for your health.

I suggest that you do cardio excerises for a least 5 days a week for 30-45 minutes each day. You can weight train with light weights to keep muscle mass, it burns fat faster.

Doing this, you will likely to lose 3-5 pounds of fat, 10 pounds is very unlikely, even if you starve yourself.
