Taking supplements?!


Question: Taking supplements!?
So I play soccer and i wanted to know how i could build the most muscle!. So i went into a GNC and the guy in there showed me this product Arson that i take before the workout, and it helps make the workout more effective and last longer, and also to take a protein shake, that i would take after the workout!.
I just wanted to know if this guy is just trying to sell products or does this stuff really work!? Also do you know any other ways to build muscle (other than a healthy diet i already know)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The answer is 'yes' - yes he's probably trying to sell products and yes they do work!. I would recommend NOT purchasing from GNC because they are expensive (although they usually seem to have decent advice)!. You can go to Vitamin shoppe or shop online (just google the product and you will find tons of sites to compare from (or try ebay/shopping!.com/dealtime)!.
As far as supplements:
- Whey protein is a good one!. Supplements your food protein diet and gives your body protein to use throughout the day!. You need lots of protein to help build muscle (so lots of meat and whey protein shakes are good)!.
- Creatine - helps to provide short term energy/endurance to do those last couple weights at those high reps!. Helps to replenish those ATP levels after each set!.
- NOExplode (or other NO product) - gives you energy and pump to push harder, stronger, and longer (make sure you follow the instructions)
- Glutamine - good for muscle recovery

GNC is expensive!. Get your supllements online!. Also, creatine and protein will both dehydrate you, so be aware of that since you are a soccer player!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
